Merry Chrismukkah!
I am sitting here watching Pleasantville thinking to myself... What a wonderful world that is. However, just a little boring. I like all the ups and downs of life, even if they do stress me out.
My family is here to celebrate Christmas. They came last year, and it was mildly dysfunctional. I am determined that this year will be different and everything will be perfect. Well, almost perfect would be good enough. So far so good - my ginger snaps are a hit, and my banana muffins smell and look great. They always say that the way to someone's heart is through their stomach, well I am going to do my best to impress everyone's heart.
I am looking forward to tomorrow - Christmas music playing in the background, the smell of roasting turkey, the christmas lights on the tree, the kitties playing in the wrapping paper.... Should be fun. I have no idea what Jurgen got me for Christmas either. That is a first.
Well, here is to a Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukkah, and Happy Holidays for everyone!! I wish you happy times with your families. And many fulfilled dreams.
Merry Chrismukkah to all!
